We participated in a great project recently ‘The Unremembered’ to commemorate the brave sacrifices of the Labour Corps especially those from across the globe – in particular black and minority ethnic soldiers, and their heroic contribution to the war effort.

Remembering Together

We are running a series of free community workshops at The Bridge in Brighton on Mondays in April, encouraging older people from the area to make Life History books to facilitate the celebration and sharing of memories.

Introduction to Reminiscence – One Day Training Course: 16th May 2018

One Day Reminiscence Training Course – Brighton
This One day training course based at Strike a Light’s studio in Brighton takes place on Wednesday 16th May 2018 (10am-4pm).
It offers an overview of reminiscence work, including the background to the subject and will consider the benefits to be derived by both the people who reminisce and those who listen. We will explore a wide variety of reminiscence activities, which can be used to trigger personal memories and help a group to work well together.
