Strike a Light – Arts & Heritage are pleased to have launched an exciting range of free video resources for our latest project, Remote Reminiscence – Getting Elders online.

This project, funded by the National Lottery Community Fund, engages older people in reminiscence through a new, multi-platform resource, enabling them to access memories, share experiences and participate in lifelong learning.

Our new video resources provide guidance and activities for groups running their own reminiscence sessions. Presented by our Creative Director, Nicola Benge, who has extensive experience of facilitating reminiscence sessions, the videos focus on a range of themes including Jobs & Work, Childhood and Holidays.

They are free and available to all.

We will soon be launching free, downloadable written resource packs to complement the videos.

If you are a group interested in holding reminiscence sessions and would like us to send you a resource pack, please email us at contact@strikealight.org

We hope that our videos will be a really useful resource for groups looking to getting involved in reminiscence. If you use our videos, we would love to hear what you think of them and how you’ve used them in your activities – so please get in touch at contact@strikealight.org or via our Facebook or Twitter pages.
