We have recently finished working on the Brighton based Archives Alive project for clients QueenSpark Books.

The wider project is developing innovative online and offline initiatives in order to increase public accessibility to, engagement with, and enhancement of, Brighton & Hove’s heritage.

It utilises historical text, photographs, audio and print from the archive of QueenSpark Books and a range of other sources within a wide-ranging, integrated and sustainable programme of volunteer and community development.

Strike a Light – Arts & Heritage role was to deliver a series of reminiscence sessions using newly printed history books about Brighton & Hove to encourage groups of older people to share their own memories.

We are working with the Silver Foxes group in central Brighton, Memories Past group in Portslade, and Hyman Fine House in East Brighton.
