We had a really enjoyable Conversation Cafe this week as part of the HLF funded The Boys on the Plaque project in Brighton with local community publisher QueenSpark Books who specialise in projects about Brighton and Hove’s history.
This session will host visitors from the WWI themed Brighton’s Graphic War book project from QueenSpark Books, and a look at an earlier book Brighton the Graphic Novel on e-readers.

A creatively curated drop-in daytime event, with free workshops, exhibitions, talks, and cafe.
Our project, The Orange Lilies – Brighton and Hove Soldiers in the Somme, in Brighton and Hove continues this autumn with a series of free activities and outings for our project participants and volunteer research group, which is led by our Research Coordinator Ross Hammond.

Join us for a special free bunting making workshop at Fabrica gallery, as part of two heritage projects; The Boys on the Plaque and The Orange Lilies- Brighton and Hove in the Somme, which both commemorate Brighton & Hove’s soldiers who fought in WWI. This takes place on Tuesday 23rd August 2-5pm.
