Rise & View Krew – Summer 2021

We’re pleased to announce that Rise & View Krew activities will be going ahead this summer!

Due to social distancing, we don’t yet know if we will be able to have physical sessions as we did previously, so we will either be delivering specially created packs to families in the Saunders Park area to make at home or having a free holiday club event in Saunders Park.

These will be a range of activities created by one of our talented artists which will be aimed at ages 5-8/9-11. Details TBC.

Strike a Light and AfrikaBa present Hastings Afro-Caribbean Festival

Strike a Light are delighted to be partnering with AfriKàBa, the Hastings based festival of African and Caribbean heritage, arts and culture. AfriKàBa is an annual festival that showcases high quality work from artists with African and Caribbean heritage and engages audiences with unique and enriching experiences.
We’ve got funding to provide free activities that positively promote African Caribbean culture, crafts and food.
These will take place on 29th September at Stade Hall, Hastings from 12 – 7pm: http://www.afrikaba.co.uk/
