Nicola Benge from Strike a Light gave a presentation about a project she is currently coordinating last week, at the Independent Living Association AGM in Worthing, West Sussex.
The project is Speaking up for Disability and concerns chronicling the heritage of disabled people and their carers across West Sussex from the 1940s to the present day, through oral histories, a website, an exhibition and a new disability archive to be housed at West Sussex Records Office.
