On Armistice Day, There will be a display of some original material from The Keep archive. One day only!
Friday 11th November 10am-4pm
We will be marking Armistice Day at The Keep with a free mini exhibition of archive material relating to the First World War. We’ll be including original newspapers, scrapbooks and photograph albums, soldiers’ letters, posters and more. For one day only, Friday 11 November, 10am – 4pm. All welcome!
The Armistice display will be in the ‘glass box’, which is the group work room between two reading rooms, so it isn’t going to be huge, but we’re including material from all The Keep’s partners so it should be an interesting mix and, we hope, an indication of the kinds of things people might hope to find here.
