Community Arts
Strike a Light plans
and deliver multidisciplinary arts workshops (carnival costume making, willow sculpture, murals, mosaic, scrap art, textiles, theatre) and themes (recycling, environment, healthy eating, community, and reminiscence), creating murals, textiles, books, performances and exhibitions for community projects.
Strike a Light works with diverse communities including schools, young people, the Third Age, probationers, Travellers, and asylum seekers. I train volunteers and other arts workers in the skills necessary to deliver and run art, and reminiscence workshops.
